A special wing of the GST team conducted multiple raids in campuses of big Pan Masala and Gutka dealers in Kanpur and Gorakhpur on 2nd October 2021.
The team has reported tax evasion can go beyond 18 crores. They have also seized cash amounting to Rs1.23 crores.

But they deserve more limelight. National level media houses must cover such stories too.
They have made an arrest as well. A business owner named Biswajit Verma is serving 14 days of judicial custody.
